ELEMENTSSki to Elk Lake Meanwhile, somewhere in Bend, Oregon… This Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 marks Man vs. Elements’ 10th anniversary cross-country skiing from Mount Bachelor Nordic Center to Elk Lake Resort. There are 20 guys this year, 12 doing the day trip returning on snow-cats in the evening, with the other 8 staying overnight. The trip is about 10+ miles but takes us 4-5 hours to get there… Fireball, whiskey & beer tend to get in the way. As in life, it’s all about the journey and not so much the destination.
