We tried Bar Run Resort & Golf in Roseburg, Oregon this year, It was great! We had 14 players. Most of us stayed in their cabins on the 18th green and the others in trailers.

Highlights:

• No Trophy For You! – Beau thought he was texting Wes but accidentally sent a group a text about how he’d only won one trophy in his life and cried, which is kinda why he creates trophies for these events. He’s the only person that would’ve excelled in the participation award era. 😆 (and the irony, he won the GOAT!)
• Concussion – Drew had to cancel last minute and wished us all a fun trip (see pic from hospital bed BELOW). Hit a curb going 20mph on an E-Bike. 🥴
• Pancakes & Sausage Fest – Matt S – the newbie, made us all pancakes and Jake brought sausage for Saturday Morning. He’s our new BFF!
• Former Goat Revisited – Geoff enjoyed the perks of being the GOAT again by default due to Jerry canceling. (Geoff won in 2024).
• Wii Games – Justin brought a Wii game console (see vid) and we were able to set it up in their large event tent.
• GOAT – Beau finally won his own trophy he created. It’s a pitiful triumph but a triumph nonetheless.
• Keith’s Scramble Team – putted lights out on the 2nd round and won with 6 under score.
• Broken Table – Wes (shocker right? 🤣) Managed to break a glass table on the patio of their cabin tripping over it late at night AND he lost his Ray Ban Glasses too but were luckily returned.  
• Domino’s Delivered – Ordered 5 pizzas (maybe 6 next time). They delivered but almost cancelled due to it being out of their delivery area, got lucky but may be a problem next year.
• Daryl’s Pain – Daryl came in with an injury and had to quit swinging the club mid round BUT!… Saved one last swing to win the KP award like a champ! He was in some serious pain, yikes.
• Dinner Places: James picked a couple winners for those who went to dinner: Friday Burrito Vaquero Mexican Cuisne & Saturday Chen’s Chinese Cuisine (Chen’s can accommodate the entire group next year)
• FLY BY – John F flew down just for this golf trip, Thanks Johnny! 💪
