Mt Bachelor to Elk Lake Resort
Day Trip Only This Year!
It’s on like Donkey Kong!
ITENERARY:
- 8am – MASSIVE CARPOOL will be going on @Beau’s house: 19664 Hollygrape St at 8:00am “Cheap-ass coffee never tasted so good!
- 9am SHARP – Everyone MUST be at Mt Bachelor’s Nordic Center parking lot.
- 9:15am – hit the trail! It’s 11.2 miles but we stop about 6 times for beer, laughs & for Geoff to catch up… Warning: Snowballs will be thrown at those relieving themselves. Group photo taken at 1st stop
- 2:00pm – Arrive at Elk Lake. F**k yeah! You made it! Eat lunch, play LCR dice, get your Super Bowl squares.
- 5:30pm – Depart on Snow-Cats ($30 sno-cat fee is added to your food bill at the time). Approx. 1-hour ride back to cars. 🙂
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring cameras & take vids for website, Small backpack with trail mix etc, water, flask? BEER & BEER & BEER! Bag for trash, wear breathable attire, gloves, shades, $$ for lunch/beer at Elk Lake, $ for LCR dice and $ football pool.
SKI RENTALS:
Pine Mountain is asking for those renting skis to SHOW UP on FRIDAY, FEB 7th, to get skis (between 12pm – 5pm). Tell them you’re with Man vs. Elements… You MUST return skis on Saturday evening OR Sunday Morning at 10am to only get charged for 1 day.
