We came, we saw, we rocked it! Special thanks to Elk Lake Resort for making this happen despite the little snow.  We had 17 brave men from Bend this year that trekked the treacherous 11+ mile deep, un-groomed & doomed terrain.  We had a sketchy forecast in the beginning with high winds but all that dissapated once we were off and running…  The overnighters had about 24 people playing Left, Right, Center creating the largest pot in MvE history totaling more than $200+ thanks to a new rule of carrying the cash over if you don’t prove your victory by rolling a “dot” (it carried over twice!).  Robyn Dawn, from a fun ladies group called, “Woman who Explore” took everyones money!   The “Day Tripper’s” snow-cat broke down a mile out from the Bachelor Nordic Center so they had to do a little more skiing than they wanted to get to their cars.  Ha ha! See vid below.  Overnighters ended up getting shuttled to the South Gate then bussed over to our cars via the Sunriver route because of the lack of snow.  We got lucky, had we have waited another week, the trip would’ve been cancelled.  GOOD TIMES !!!!  Looking forward to our 10th anniversary is next year!
