Can you believe we’ve been doing this for 10 years? I can’t begin to tell you all how much I appreciate your friendships and willingness to do silly, stupid-fun trips like this with me, very grateful. 🙏

We came, we saw… We kilt-it! 13 players made the journey, custom ball markers & flasks were made to mark the special occasion (thanks Justin). Also a huge thanks to Jim for supplying everyone with BJ’s, aka Birdie Juice (liquor for all flasks), don’t be nasty! There was a slight ferdrizzle on Friday but nothing to whine about and Saturday despite rain in the FORE-cast, turned out to be perfect! The golf Gods came through, even for the PGA-theists. For the Saturday games, we had 3 teams for the “shamble” and two 5-somes for the 2nd round “scramble”. We are becoming fairly popular in this little town with neighbors coming out to take pics with us! ðŸĪĢ See highlights & winners below.

Highlights:

  • John Folliard won the G.O.A.T. trophy with only 2 names in the drawing
  • Jim, Mike & Daryl opted out of the 2nd round of golf Saturday to go watch the Ducks… This in my humble opinion led to their horrific loss to the Huskies (36-33). ðŸĪŠ 
  • Beau won a $1,000 jackpot playing some coyote slot game however gave most of it back!
  • We all experienced the Dark Side of The Moon golfing Saturday morning with a solar eclipse.
  • Saturday at the turn, we had Domino’s deliver pizza for lunch. 😎
  • And finally… The Hukilau Restaurant never disappoints. “Best Hawaiian food in Oregon!“

The Winners:

  1. Winners of the AM Shamble (4 under): Jim, Beau, Matt & Kole 
  2. Winners of the PM Scramble (7 under) a tie amongst teams: [Beau, Drew, Benny, Geoff & John] & [Jerry, Matt, Kole, Brian & Keith]
  3. KP winners were Geoff & Daryl (2-peat)
  4. G.O.A.T. Award – John Folliard
