17 players showed up for our epic outing and it did not disappoint. I can’t begin to tell you all how much I appreciate your friendships and willingness to do silly, stupid-fun trips like this, very grateful. 🙏
We had a some great times… 🤣 See highlights & winners below.
Highlights:
- Diane (lives on 8th hole) always comes out to see us and takes pics, she gave us cookies and helped each team putt this year, awesome! 🤣
- Geoff holed a skulled 95 yard worm burner going a 100 miles per hour, hit the pin perfectly and dropped in the cup… Seems fitting that he also won the GOAT trophy. 🏆
- Jim B’s team would have won because they drew Johnny O’ to be on their team but drove off without him so Mike P’s team got him… and won, of course.
- Danny’s balls were artistically painted before he lost them all (see pics). U rock Aspen!
- Any team with John O’Sully won… The conspiracy is that he had a shoulder injury and was not able to play Saturday but miraculously recovered the day of the tourney to be the 5th man on the grassy null. Beau also illegally claimed him on his team for the 2nd round. 🙅♂️
- Dominoes forgot our order but we had them deliver on the 25th hole instead. 🤪
- Geoff won a $750 in cash playing some modified Texas Hole em game, got to spin a wheel of some sorts after the dealer got a big hand.
- James, Benny, Matt & Drew jumped in the ocean Friday morning, this may become an annual thing, I was jealous.
- Beau K, Jim B, Mike P & Jerry W played 36 holes on Friday as well, thus becoming no help whatsoever on Saturdays last round. #shitshow
- Beau made chicken quesadillas on Friday evening for everyone.
- Wes managed to hit himself with his own shot [SEE VID BELOW], also topped one perfectly then caught it. wtf!?
- The Hukilau Restaurant Saturday night. 💪 “Best Hawaiian food and punani in Oregon!“
