MvE’s Bike Trip IV Click Here for Video “Top Gun 31” September 20, 2015 met: 10am @cog wild | hit trail: 11:20ish| arrived: 3pm-ish @Pacific Pizza & Brew Great trip this year with about 11 newbies. The conditions were perfect thanks to a little rainfall a few days earlier. We ran into about 15-20 runners in the beginning from the Flagline 50 & Alpine races finishing up but after that it was smooth sailing straight up that damn hill. No casualties to report I’m guessing mainly due to Johnny O’ or Jerry W. not being able to attend. The TOP GUN 31 Good times! Everyone met at 10am at Cog Wild & Pine Mountain Sports, we loaded up the bikes then drove up to Dutchman Flats. Kat took this amazing group photo with Mt. Bachelor in the background then we began our exhausting ascent to eventually later descend. One Crank fell off and 3 flat tires later the group eventually started arriving at Pacific Pizza & Brew around 3:00pm-ish. Great beer, great pizza, good times! See you next year!
